This blog post is about non-technical aspects of $$$ToPageLinker keyword=Simorg toRoute=https://simorg.art$$$ . Although this technology is going to be used as a modern solution for modern problems, its root is deep in the history of human **Consciousness** and I love to share some of its aspects with you. 

Let's start from Zero Hour! Imagine you want to create a universe out of nothingness! What are the ingredients that you need? Should you babysit all the interactions in your new universe as a creator or instead create a universe that is self progressing? Which one fits more into the definition of wisdom? As the creator you definitely will have the power to interfere in the acts of your creatures but should you do it? So long story short what and how is the role of the creator?

Now, moving a moment forward from our Zero Hour, what is the definition of nothingness and existence in this universe? What is impossible to be created out of nothingness and needs to be inherited in this new universe from its creator? What is the first creature that appears out of nothingness? How is this universe supposed to scale? 

Well, these questions are not going to end anytime soon! The way we answer these questions will have a direct impact on the universe that is going to be created.

Software engineering and the tools of creation (aka programming languages) are not separated from these questions. To be honest until today, no one thought about these very foundations of creation. We use programming languages (all of them) that let you create nothingness and name it and then use it. Who knows how many millions of software incidents happened due to this very wrong assumption! Due to lack of philosophy and wisdom in our architecture! 

This is when the story of Simorg begins. Creating a piece of software is a beautiful example of the creation out of nothingness and it needs its own philosophy and wisdom! Our story starts by consciousness and ends with love, kindness or as it is called, the completeness.

Fast forwarding a bit to gradually answer those questions, the ingredient that needs to be inherited from the creator is the consciousness. Every single entity in this new universe can be created out of nothingness, except the consciousness.
This is the moment that we should try to answer what is consciousness? What is its role in creation?

You may wonder what we mean by **Abrahamic Consciousness**! What it has to do with software engineering and how it's related? Well it all has to do with human consciousness. After all, all our activities as software engineers (aka Artisans) are about capturing consciousness into its digital form. This can be done much better if we first understand what consciousness is, how it flows and then on top of this understanding, creating the tools. 

Simorg can be seen as a tool built on top of deep understanding of consciousness. This article is an introduction to the story of consciousness from the beginning to the end.

First, let's see a bit of history behind the name.

**Simorg**'s name is taken from the story of a group of the birds embarking on a journey to seek their King, Simorg.
It is a symbol of the highest level of consciousness and unification in Persian culture when discrete elements of the system join together and achieve the highest level of consciousness. You can read more about **Simorg** in the lexicon or search for it in external sources.

Inspired by this story, Simorg's technology is an answer to the question of "how to create a unified conscious digital universe for digital elements?" 

Our technology managed to create a byte-level representation of consciousness units and let them join together so eventually scaling up and shaping a universe which is manifesting the highest possible level of consciousness.

We now can answer the "HOW" using a three-layer system of thinking, each contributing to a piece of the puzzle until eventually reaching out to a solution that manifests itself in a digital form. 

Welcome to the story of Simorg and consciousness.


# The Foundation

Simorg's foundational layer is on top of Abrahamic Consciousness. We can consider Abrahamic Religions as a continuous platform of thinking on which our ancestors tried to formalize their thoughts regarding the universe and how it works.

This platform covering thousands of miles and years, involving millions of scholars contributing to this massive movement to answer a fundamental question that involves the creation of a universe:
Why does this universe work?

Their answer is profound, a conscious creator must exist! This is the beginning of the story of Abrahamic Consciousness in Simorg. 

Well software engineering is amazing as its creatures are in a completely separate dimension of space and time. It is interesting that if you also try to create a completely new universe, you will encounter a series of fundamental questions e.g. what is the first creature and how this new universe should expand? What is the definition of time and space in this universe? The wisdom behind your design determines the success of this universe.

This is why we should take Abrahamic Consciousness seriously. If we just want to summarize these millions of hours of thinking into one single word, that would be the CONSCIOUSNESS. Consciousness is the unquestionable aspect of Abrahamic religions, Judaism, Christianity, Islam may have differences in surface but when it comes to consciousness there is no divergence in them. Although they may look different at first glance on the surface but there is a clear path from consciousness to love and kindness which is governing the core foundation of them. 

What we call as Abrahamic Consciousness is a framework of wisdom and thought by which we are able to find the answers regarding the creation of a universe or more precisely, the creation of existence out of nothingness. 

Simorg as a programming language and as a piece of technology is shaped around the fundamental principle of consciousness. Consciousness is woven into the fabric of Simorg's universe. It is a byte-level invisible entity of the system. As the system grows and becomes more complex so is the consciousness, in a way that finally it wraps the whole universe of Simorg. This is the way by which the Abrahamic Consciousness models a universe.

It is also understood that consciousness is not an entity that is created out of nothingness but is inherited from the creator. When a conscious entity starts writing Simorg code, it is actually capturing its consciousness in the form of words. This is important because in next layers we can see how this consciousness is finally manifesting itself in a materialized universe.

Now, at this point we may raise more questions in your mind rather than the answers but it is fine, this topic is not the cup of tea of everyone. From this layer, it would be enough if we just acknowledge the existence of consciousness as an external element which needs to be injected into our digital universe, although if we do our job well, later, it can also be originated from within our digital universe.

There are more foundamental patterns and we will gradually share them in future blog posts but for now let's just focus on the very essence of consciousness.

Creator's consciousness can be seen as the light in the darkness of nothingness. Initially, it is an external entity injected into our universe, above the limits of time and space of creatures.

Consciousness is what we take from this layer, let's see how this consciousness is moving through layers until it manifests itself into a visible universe.


# The Bridge
Now, once we determined the fundamental rules of our universe we need tools to gradually help us to materialize it and make it visible as we are moving from this invisible foundational layer to a universe of seen and visibility.

Here comes the science to help. Science is a tool to bridge between fundamentals of our universe and the materialized visible layer of it.

Mathematics is the first layer of science as it fulfills many requirements naturally. The choice of mathematics wasn't accidental! We don't have to re-invent the wheel again. We already have a fully functional universe and the only tool that is able to precisely answer its behavior is mathematics. Our mother of nature is talking to us in the language of mathematics. 

If we want to pick a keyword representing mathematics in Simorg, it is "INFINITY". Mathematics is the only branch of science that can represent the consciousness in our new dimension. The infinite nature of mathematics is nicely supporting the infinite nature of consciousness. The other side of the mathematics is plurality and diversity which is connecting us to the third layer which we will see next.

From the mathematical layer Simorg is inspired by fractal geometries especially Mandelbrot set which is a model of an infinite universe constantly expanding, from the end to the beginning.

The concept of Shells and how they expand the universe of Simorg is fitting nicely to Mandelbrot set. While it seems recursive and complex to the eye but still a minimalist, flat structure of numbers unified together elegantly to manifest a higher consciousness, which is captured into an equation.

Of course mathematics is a powerful tool that models all the possible universes but when we limit it only to one set of rules describing one universe then we have the Physics.

The next topic which is bridging between mathematics and physics is The Fourier Series.
Fourier series is helping us to make the vibrations possible. This one leads us into a physical layer.

While the mathematics is about infinity, the physics is all about finity. Physics makes us able to focus in a finite universe of possibilities. On top of this physical layer we have digital elements that their existence is linked to their ability to vibrate. So physics is providing a solution of how one element can be created and what are the rules of interaction.

Finally, it comes to scalability. How will this universe of elements scale? It is when

comes to help. Consider Logos similar to the table of elements in chemistry. After all chemistry can be seen as the science of studying the scalability of a universe on top of its physical rules. Logos is holding the blueprints of the creation. These blueprints can be instantiated without forcing entities to be re-created again and again.

Simorg's engine, called **Jerusalem** Engine, is a mathematical engine which is responsible for originating the consciousness and making it flow in a new digital dimension. Related to the engine, **Logos** can be seen as the repository of the consciousness. 

The final architecture and development of the engine and platform didn't happen overnight! It took years of study of different sources, hundreds of thousands of lines of code written and removed so that finally it turned out we need to move from an object-based universe to a vibration-based universe and from functions to shells. 

Vibration is what we take to the next layer. Vibration is the manifestation of consciousness in the physical layer.

# The Universe

Now we reached the final layer in which our digital universe comes into existence.
This is the layer of Multiplicity and Diversity as we saw in the previous layer, it is the other side of the mathematical bridge.

Well the existence of a digital being is the direct result of its vibration. Elements exist if they can vibrate so affecting the universe and being impacted by others.

In this layer everything comes into existence according to the rules of previous layers.
Logos is the repository of the blueprints and the first creature of the universe is called **Aql**, also known as Q, the first creature that is utilizing the consciousness and through it everything else is created.

Simorg blueprints are categorized into three different categories,
- Artifacts.
- Bundles.
- Applications.

**Artifacts** are referring to digital elements which are created by Simorg **Artisans** including but not limited to,
- AI Models.
- Binaries.
- Components (3D or 2D).
- IoTs.
- Plugins.
- etc.

Simorg bundles are representing simorg code or a group of digital elements grouped together to serve a purpose.

Artifacts and bundles make it possible to create simorg applications quickly. Each simorg application is a unit of consciousness and represents a running solution either in a cloud environment or in a local machine.

Out of all these categories components are representing the last elements in the chain of creation. Being UI elements, they help us visualize our universe. They have an important characteristic, they can be moved between applications, making application communications as naturally as possible.

# A Bird's Eye View
Alright, let's take a deep breath and see where we are.

Our journey which started from infinity of consciousness is being finalized in a universe of finite elements. Although being finite is the characteristic of a materialized universe but still these finite creatures are inheriting the infinite aspect of the creation, the consciousness! Every element in Simorg can hold levels of consciousness within it and it is a game-changing feature of our technology.

Now, although seeing variety and diversity on the surface, as you move toward the essence, there is nothing but the unity.

Simorg as a technology is the result of multiple layers of thinking and it's making it different. It is a new foundation for future of our digital experience on top of which we can build new forms of digital tools that not only work but are highly flexible and powerful, one which will help us experience a new generation of digital products.

Among the possibilities, Simorg's data-driven mathematical nature is making it unique to power next generation of AI applications. 

Also, the scalable nature of Simorg and the native support of digital elements under a holistic solution, is making it quite powerful for next generation Metaverse applications.
