Logos is originally a Greek word (λόγος) meaning <<<Word>>>, which is a fundamental concept of the Greek Bible and has deep roots in Greek ontological and philosophical thought. There are many dimensions to this fascinating idea which are quite beneficial for software engineering.

Although logos is often translated as "word", it is definitely more than that. Actually, you can see the roots of the English word <<<logic>>> (prefix **log-**) in *logos*.
It is better to say that *logos* is a manifestation of consciousness.
One of the most beautiful aspects of the Greek language is the prioritization of the value in the language!
Logos is not just a simple word, but a kind of word that is the result of a conscious mind, the same root powering logic.

The name <<<Logos>>> is chosen to honor both Christianity and the tradition of Greek philosophy. After all, it was through Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) that the true essence of consciousness and love unlocked and manifested itself.

In simorg's journey toward creating a conscious universe, *logos* is the second manifestation of consciousness, referring to the second step of creation where the blueprints of creation reside and are entered into the process of creation.
